The Wellfleet Police Department is committed to helping you and your family in identifying and/or dealing with a loved one or person close to you that has or may be developing an addiction problem with either drugs or alcohol.

There is also help available through the Massachusetts District Court System. The following applications can be filled out and submitted to the Office of the Clerk Magistrate at the District Court which has jurisdiction over the town in which you live. A judge will review and determine the best course of action on a case by case basis. There are no attorney fees involved.
Massachusetts General Law Chapter 123 Section 12 and Section 35 address Court Ordered treatment for Mental Health and Substance Abuse.
